Nigel enjoys what he does. Working as an Auror is the fulfillment of a dream, one born in the DA lessons. He considers Harry Potter to be a personal hero of his, though he is too shy to say such. Nigel is a very effective Auror, with confidence, assurance, and skill. As a person interfacing with people on his own, he is still shy, but when he is in Auror mode, when he is being the pro, he is very confident, very professional and smooth. When working as an Auror, he is good and able to move with grace, but when he is trying to talk to people, he often stumbles over words, knocks things over, and generally acts the fool . . . Special abilities/strengths/flaws: As a member of the Dumbledore’s Army classes, Nigel learned much, and became an expert in Hexes, Jinxes, and counterspells, but especially the last one. Shielding was and is his greatest strength, and some minor healing ability has made him popular among the Aurors. Relevant backstory: Nigel was a few years behind Harry potter in school, and came along right as things started to get just a little dangerous. Growing up in the Second War made him make a choice. And he chose to stand buy those like Harry who fought. Being part of Dumbledore’s Army, and the triumphant side at the Battle for Hogwarts, was something that thrilled, and filled him with joy. He anticipated a lifetime of adventures. The first few years after Hogwarts were amazing, but then things slowed down, got quiet, and Nigel found, much to his dismay, that life was, well, boring. Despite working in the field he loved, as an Auror, he felt unfulfilled, and lacking in something major. He dove into the Auror life, and focused therein, but his coworkers sometimes try to get him out of his shell. He is willing to try, but bad at it. *** Not real. Fictional.
